  2. You choose the system

    Pick any brand you want, based on your own research. We are agnostic. If you want a recommendation, we will give you one.

  3. Flat-rate quote

    Installation cost up front. Code upgrades, like a shutoff or bypass, quoted separately so you know the full scope.

  4. Install to code

    Proper location, bypass valves, and drain connections. We make the system serviceable, not a plumbing nightmare for the next person.

  5. Test and flush

    Fill the media, flush the cartridges, and confirm pressure and flow at the fixtures.

  6. Maintenance walkthrough

    We show you how to change cartridges, add salt, and what the bypass is for.

Do I really need a water filter in Charlotte?
Charlotte Water is treated and meets federal standards, but plenty of people want to pull out chlorine taste, sediment, or hardness. Whether you need it is a preference call. If you are on a private well, filtration is usually not optional.
Whole-house or under-sink?
Under-sink handles drinking and cooking water at one faucet and is the cheaper entry point. Whole-house protects every fixture, plus your water heater and washing machine. We walk through both based on what you want to accomplish.
What brand of filter should I buy?
Aquasana, Pelican, Culligan, Kinetico, and Rheem all make good systems at different price points. We install whatever you choose. We can also recommend based on what you are trying to filter out.
Can you install a filter I already have?
Yes. We install customer-supplied systems regularly. We will tell you before we start if we see something that looks like a warranty or fit issue.
How much maintenance do filters need?
Cartridge filters get swapped every 3 to 12 months depending on the system and your water. Softeners need salt every few weeks. We can set you up on a maintenance schedule so you are not guessing.
Do you install water softeners too?
Yes. Softeners are a separate system from filtration but often installed alongside it, especially in areas with harder well water.
